 The MDSµP uses the very latest development in low power microwave technology for collision avoidance equipment. The MDSµP is designed for stand alone operation and can be used in conjunction with stationary or moving targets.
Supplied as an easy to install single unit, the purpose designed and constructed sheet steel enclosure with ABS antenna cover to IP55 Minimum, houses a single high quality programmable microprocessor controlled printed circuit board with on board power supplies and interface relays. |
 Electrical supply and interface connections are easily made via the in built plug and socket terminal rail with access through a provisioned access port which will accept a standard 20mm compression gland.
The MDSµP system incorporates 3 zone relays as standard which can be programmed during installation for the required detection distances and interfaced to warning devices, directional and speed control circuits as required.
Each zone can be set by means of the MDSµP Installer Friendly Plug & Set Programmer, when removed the input data instructions are stored in memory, thus preventing any tampering by unauthorised persons after installation set up. NOTE |

MDSµP emits microwave similar to radar equipment, its use may not be permitted in the vicinity of civil and military aircraft. |

Some countries do not permit use of these devices due to the type of antenna used. Check before purchase or installation with legal standards for the country of destination and use. |

In Europe, a new Compliant Version of this system will be available mid 2004. |
